Breezy Celebrates Integration with All the Leading EMM's in Gartner's 2014 Enterprise Mobility Management Magic Quadrant

Posted on January 27, 2015

Each year, Gartner Research reviews the leading enterprise mobility management (EMM) suites, and ranks them based on performance, customer feedback, and product features as well as company stability. The 2014 Gartner Enterprise Mobility Management Magic Quadrant report lists five leaders in the category:

For the third year in a row, Breezy's industry-leading secure mobile printing technology is fully integrated with all five of the Gartner EMM Magic Quadrant leaders.

"The Gartner Magic Quadrant is among the most comprehensive evaluations conducted," said Jared Hansen, CEO and founder of Breezy. "For 2014, the analysts at Gartner included more criteria than ever and we are very proud that our partners once again wound up on top of a large field of contenders."

The Evolution of EMM Products

Gartner says that the EMM products considered for 2014 are an evolution from previous-generation mobile device management (MDM) products that lacked application and content management. "IT organizations and service providers use EMM suites to deliver IT support to mobile end users and to maintain security policies. Executing these core functions through MDM represented the early implementation of these functions. MDM tools have evolved to incorporate advanced mobile application management and mobile content management," said Gartner Analyst Terrence Cosgrove in the introduction to the 2014 Magic Quadrant report.

To be considered for the EMM Magic Quadrant, an EMM suite must provide the following core functions:

AirWatch: Proven for Large-Scale Deployment

In the report, Gartner calls out the strengths of each vendor. About AirWatch, which was acquired by VMware in February 2014, Gartner said:

Citrix: Complete & Feature-Rich

Gartner lists these strengths for Citrix's EMM suite:

Good Technology: Mature, Containerized, Stringent

Gartner says that Good Technology is a fit for organizations bound by stringent data security regulations, who require a strong PIM client and strong mobile application management.

IBM: Fiberlink MaaS360's Much-Needed Cloud or On-Premise Solution

The Magic Quadrant Report calls IBM's offering, acquired from Fiberlink in December 2013, a much-needed offering that provides both cloud and on-premise solutions. The strengths listed in the report include:

MobileIron: Innovative Application & Device Agnostic

One of the things that Gartner likes best about MobileIron's strategy is that it delivers an EMM solution that is agnostic to the applications and devices an organization uses. Another is that the company continues to innovate and stay ahead of the market.

Why Magic Quadrant Leaders Chose Breezy

In its 2013 Cool Vendors report, Gartner noted that Breezy's secure mobile printing technology provided a brand-agnostic, platform-agnostic solution that filled a gap in the market. As mobility has become increasingly important, and more and more workers need to print documents from mobile devices, the need to fill that security gap has become increasingly important.

The research firm also noted Breezy's on-device encryption, and its integration with leading EMM vendors' something that hasn't changed since 2013. "Customers want a complete solution," Hansen says. "When you select an EMM solution that's integrated with Breezy's secure mobile print solution, you get just that. It takes only a few minutes to deploy Breezy across the enterprise, and our customers are assured of seamless integration and performance with all of the leading EMM vendors."
